Sample of new evolution

As I arrived yesterday at 23h with advanced representation lesson, I was unable to put few of my new work and I apologise.

Here is a sample of my new sketches. I follow the teachers advice and here is the result.

I extend some sketches just like I was advised and I have added visual hierarchy with thicker line at the front and fine in the background. But I have just one or two things to changed: numbering my sketches and putting it on the miniature plan.
My new sections which I also have redone with the comments I received on the last crit.

I have added cars and visual hierarchy.
I was a bit confused about the brief for setting out and drainage as I find it difficult to do a setting out at 1:200. So I have done my drainage plan which I nearly finish putting all of my annotations on.
I have have nearly finished my Vectorworks work as there is only a few small details I add everytime (I always miss something out that's why I print them in A3 everytime to check them).

I had an issue with Vectoroworks educational version because everytime I my work in pdf format it doesn't allow me to open it in photoshop or Indesign to add annotation on as it is secured.
So I try to scan them as a try and here is what happen:
And here is what happen when you try to scan the plan I printed. I am really not lucky: unwanted big black line in the middle of my drawing. I probably try to arrange all of my scan with photoshop.
I have been thinking maybe if I download trial Vectorwork version without education version on maybe I can save my document into a pdf which is non-secured. Maybe worth the try.

Break to France

With all the work we have to do I was spending way to much time on my computer and making lots of mistakes. As I was not efficient so I decide to take a break to France to see my family and obviously get some inspirations.

Here is my day out in France visiting Parc Atlantique and Parc de Bercy in Paris. Very inspiring park which I will use for my precedent images.

Parc Atlantique (South of Paris above Gare Montparnasse) Roof garden.

Simple and organised

Waterfeature

Bridge

Park divided in two and this part is the playground area: very open and lots of seating around.

Parc de Bercy, very enchanting park in the east of Paris (next to Gare de Bercy, Gare de Lyon). The atmosphere is calm. I really enjoy walking into that park it is so reviving.

Now I need to move on to my drawing and finish everything!!

photomontage 2

Here I have changed again the filter and the brightness as well as the contrast and the result is much better I think. My other photomontage was way too dark.
I will of course add more people in. I think this style is less dark and brighter. At least you want to see it in reality.

Photomontage

Two weeks ago I have done some photomontage of my model using an actual background of the site and adding people. Also playing with the poster edge filter.
But now the more I look at my work the more I don't like it. Here is the five photomontage I have done so far.

It might be a good thing to start over completely. As I think the filter might be a bit too much for my photomontage. There might be an issue with the lighting. Also the fact that I looked at the photomontage the previous year has done, makes me realised that my photomontage need more improvement.

Kingston Ceremony Foundation Degree Grd Design 2010

This Thursday I went to Kingston University (South West London) for my graduation ceremony. It was a shame we were only two present to it (for my class only) but I had a great time. I have seen my head teacher for one more time. I finally had got to wear the English graduation costume. I was very excited to seen a graduation ceremony. Here is a few pictures of myself in the costume.

My mum was the only one free at that time to come with me at the ceremony.

I never actually studied at Kingston because they only validated our course at Guildford College. Kingston is a really nice area of London.

It was quite windy so as you can observe my hair are all messy now.
I can't wait to go to Greenwich Ceremony with everyone. It will be fantastic especially when you are with friends.
