Art London Fair 7th-11th October 2010, bronze exhibit

I went there to have a look at my mum's friend who exhibited at the London Art Fair last week-end. Her name is Laurence Perratzi ( French artist). Her work is done by using bronze and bronze resin. Look at those pictures from her work isn't it great. I love her work.

Les 4 soeurs; bronze resin

The sculpture Les 4 soeurs is actually impressive because you can pivot those 4 has you wish. So one day you might decide to have them face one way and then the following day the other way. It is quite clever. Those are my favourite. (Those pictures are not taken from me but I download them from her website: http://www.laurenceperratzi.com/).

Photoshop montage from sketch design 2

Here is my montage from Photoshop. It is my first time using Photoshop. It took me 2 days to learn and I am sure I have still got lots to learn. I decide to use the design I came with the words: structure, planar and volume So here are my first montages:

Here I used background, trees and people from pictures I found on internet because unfortunately I never took aerial picture.

From this point each montage are done with pictures I took myself.
Background: Greenwich Park.
People: my familly, friends and one passer-by.

I hope they look good as a first time user of photoshop.

Sketch design 2

Unfortunately I was not able to come to school due to the tube strike however I did ask my classmate what they have been doing. So here is some pictures of the work (5min each) I have done at home that I believe is what we had to do.

Greenwich Park model

Here is some pictures of the model we build in class with my group to represent Greenwich Park (to show the main feature).

But first let me present you my group:

Then here is group 2 who finish first. They decide to come and to talk to us while we finish.

Here is the model we came up with.

View from the deer Park. The brilliant idea of the background is from Daniela.

Of course we haven't forgotten the bins, the dogs walking everywhere in the Park, the benches and the Rose garden.

And the Queen's house bedding with the boating pond.

And finally here is the final model:

Anish Kapoor, C-Curve, Kensington Gardens

I read on evening standard newspaper an article about a stain steel sculpture exhibited at Kensington Gardens. I was intrigued by it so I decide to have a look on Saturday 2nd October (last week-end).

And look what I found:
Look at that what a fantastic reflecting view we have got.

The other side of the stain steel sculpture. We can clearly see the C shape now.
And now we are all upside down. Interesting!!!
But what a crowd!! But that's not entirely true. That feeling of crowded is due to the shape of it.
Did you found me?

Here someone is trying to break the law of gravitation!!!

Here I am. You can't miss me now.

Greenwich Park visit on 30th Sept.

I thought I start with our first visit: Greenwich Park. Fantastic view!!!
What a steep slope!!

The observatory which is the main tourist attraction here.
Bedding inside the observatory.
Greenwich meridian.

Horse race layout for the Olympic in 2012. Good attraction. But the horse man won't even have time to contemplate the view!!! Such a shame.
Flower garden with seasonal bedding.

Deer Park. It is really small the space to see them.

 Water feature and pond.
 The rose garden. Semi-circle layout.

Too much different type of materials used in path.

 Panorama everywhere.
Anglo saxon tumuli.
Boating pond.
